He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gomar DeCocker and Catherine DeCocker (Iott); his former wife Jeanne Roscoe; his wife Harley Davidson; his daughters, Jesse Armistead (Brian) and Joy Luse (Mark); his grandchildren, Jaclyn Jacobs (Hunter Hurley), Brayden Luse (Savannah Anderson), Haley Luse and Kayla Luse; his siblings, Anne West, Monica Kastel, Christina Freer (Phil), Jeanne DeCocker (Ken), Jim and Margaret; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Creque, Mike Creque, Joe Brewer, Larry Esper, Joe West and John Kastel.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Light of Christ Parish - St. Alphonsus (222 Carey St, Deerfield, MI 49238). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions to honor John can be given to benefit Light of Christ Parish.
