With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilhelmina Jane Newell of Deerfield, Michigan, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Osterhout and Helen Osterhout (George); her spouse Francis D. Newell; her son-in-law Randy Purser; and her siblings, Wendell, Robert Osterhout and Myra Bush.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Purser and Paula Weasel (Scott); her grandchildren, Tonya Sieracki (Shane), Ritch Weasel (Kellie), Jamie Weasel, Eric Purser and Adam Purser (Stacy); her sister Yvonne Cadmus (Russell); and her sister-in-law Betty Osterhout. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Willie's memory may be given to Deerfield Fire Department or the Deerfield American Legion Post 392.
