She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Cousino and Gladys Cousino (Atkin); her husband John Edwin Gainsley Jr.; her brothers, Richard Cousino and Raymond "Jakey" Cousino; and her siblings-in-law, Luvisa "Vi" Cousino and Charles Schiel.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Gainsley (Peggy) of Maumee, OH, Catherine Gainsley (Ford Hamman) of Springport, MI and Jane Hall (Alonzo) of Lakeland, FL; her siblings, Dolores Thompson (Henry) of Tecumseh, Joanne Schiel of Manchester, Francis Cousino (Mary) of Manchester and Rita Knauss (Dusty) of Clinton; and her grandsons, Adam and Jeffrey Gainsley of Maumee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Marry Funeral Home - Blissfield (9205 US-223, Blissfield, MI 49228). A Mass was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Light of Christ Parish - St. Alphonsus (222 Carey St, Deerfield, MI 49238).
