She was predeceased by: her parents, Erwin Pidd and Mabel Pidd (Proctor); her husband Vernon Thalmann; her grandson Bradley Lapham; and her siblings, John Pidd, Bill Pidd, Fran Alber and Sally Pidd.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Herington (Rick), Dan Thalmann, Betsy Leavell (Pat), Don Thalmann (Jina) and Becky Lapham (Eric); and her siblings, Karen Lyndon, Kathleen Herrst, Gary Pidd (Renea), Darrell Pidd (Pat), Ben Powell (Connie), Linda Schultz, Barb Pidd and Joan Kubiak. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
