He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Yonker and Hendrika Yonker; his former wife Delores; and his siblings, Carroll, Alan Yonker, Jean VanderHoek (Jack) and Julene Eiten (Harold).
He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his sister-in-law Gerry Yonker; his sons, Tim Yonker (Carolyn), Todd Yonker (Daphne) and Steve Yonker (Tracy); and his niece Sara Kukulis.
In lieu of flowers memorials directed to the Gull Lake Bible Church, 1491 Midland Dr, Hickory Corners, MI 49060, where John and Gladys were faithful members.
