She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dyke and Louise Van Dyke (Green); and her sister-in-law Jane Van Dyke. She is survived by: her husband Bill Nelson; her children, Jeremy Nelson (Shay) and Tonia Aho (Jon); her grandchildren, Breydan, Trask and Sigrid; and her siblings, Lois Nichols (Bob), Albert Van Dyke (Lynda), Terry Van Dyke, Barbara Hayward (Craig) and Joseph Van Dyke (Linda).
