It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alphonzo Jones of Detroit, Michigan, born in Aiken, South Carolina, who passed away on May 13, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Pamela M. Porter of Irmo, SC, Tameka Jones Monroe of Columbia, SC and LaDonna Nichelle Jones of Conyers, GA.; and his siblings, Shirley Jones Fluker and Rosemary Jones-Brooks of Columbia, SC.. He was also cherished by Grandchildren, devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
