It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Prather in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on May 5, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sons, Robert Scott Prather and John Russell Prather. He is survived by: his children, Ron (Svitlana) and Erin Washington (Lawton); his grandchildren, Janiah Biggins, JhaMarkus Biggins and Travis Washington, Jr.; his brother Michael; his nephew Bobby; Collette Hawkins.
This led to him buying old vacuum cleaners to repair and donate to those in need.
