He is survived by: his wife Kate VanderKooi; his parents, Jerry VanderKooi and Lois VanderKooi; his daughters, Sarah and Kristin; his siblings, Kristi Bramlett (Eric) and David VanderKooi (Kaisa); and his father-in-law Ron Jezylo (Rebecca). He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home (30895 W Huron River Dr, Flat Rock, MI 48134).
