It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Buffa Valenti (Detroit, Michigan), who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Buffa and Mary Buffa; her husband Anthony "Tony" Valenti; her grandson Chuck Lindstrom; and her siblings, Bill Oliveri (Dorothy), Eva DeGregorio (Tom), Mary Rizzo (Sam), Betty Modzelewski (Henry) and Andrew Buffa.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Valenti (Becky), Sheryl Hogan (Tom), Greg Valenti (Sue), Jeff Valenti (Margie), Laura Breitner (Ron), Anthony Valenti (Melanie Lisbon) and Karyn Naimo (Joe); her grandchildren, Andrew Valenti (Katie), Phil Valenti (Jessica), Clare Valenti (Kevin Carpenter), Daniel Hogan (Stephanie), Lauren Blue (Derek), Nancy Lindstrom, Mike Valenti (Katie), Joe Breitner, Sarah Breitner, Alexcia Acosta, Hannah Naimo and Adam Naimo; her stepgranddaughters, Katie Holdt (Mike) and Elizabeth Lachowicz (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Jack, Carter, Will Blue, Joey Valenti, Emma, Hudson Holdt, Cameron Lachowicz and Maddox Meck.
