Christopher Robert Fugedi Obituary

We announce the death of Christopher Robert Fugedi of Detroit, Michigan, born in Southfield, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 56. Christopher will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his wife Lynne; his children, Kyle (Lexie) and Kaitlyn; his parents, Julie and Joseph; his brothers, Joe (Monica), Tom (Katie) and Nick; and his sisters-in-law, Lisa Kleven (Marshall) and Leslie Kruger (Jeff). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; extended family; and countless friends.

A memorial gathering was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harry J Will Funeral Home (37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152). A rosary was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Glioblastoma Foundation to support research and transform the standard of care for glioblastoma.
