He was predeceased by: his son Harry; and his parents, John H. Nelson and Ruby L. Goodley Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Helen Grubert; his grandchildren, Shaun (Sara), Derrick, Jennifer, Justine, Parker and Pierce; his great grandchildren, Ellie and Emma; and his sister Anita Nelson Cataline. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
