He is survived by: his children, Camille (LaMart), Charla (Shanika), Marissa, LeiSean, Dawn, Julius and Demetrius; his grandchildren, Alexandria, LaMesia, Austin, LaTricia, Douglas III, DeAndre, Avery, Aubrey, MaKayla and MaKenzie; his great grandchild Andres; his sister Valarie Diane; and his goddaughters, Marcia (James), Sylvia and Breana (Chansler).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christ Cathedral Baptist Church (6115 Hartford St, Detroit, MI 48210). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
