With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Streberger (Detroit, Michigan), who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Francis and Mary Ann; her husband John "Jim" Francis Streberger; her son Jeffrey; and her siblings, Sharon and Johnnie.
She is survived by: her sons, Alex Streberger (Beth Olson) and John Streberger (Maria); her child-in-law Sandy; her grandchildren, Alaina, Emma, Jack, Alec, Sam, James and Amelia; and her siblings, Mary Margaret Hetterscheidt, Judy Golden and Bobby McDonnell (Cheryl).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Verheyden, Inc. - Grosse Pointe (16300 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). The lying in state will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church (157 Lake Shore Rd, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
