He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert John Lilly and Marguerite Seydel Lilly; and his brothers, Albert John Lilly, Jr. and Gerald Edward Lilly. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Mary Frances Lilly and Anne Marie Gaglio (Perry); and his grandsons, John Francis Higginbotham and Daniel George Higginbotham.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Verheyden, Inc. - Grosse Pointe (16300 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). The lying in state will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic Church (1401 Whittier Rd, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
