He was predeceased by: his father George F.; and his brother Philip. He is survived by: his mother Nancy; his sister Shirley "Linda" Mazzola (Paul) of Occala; and his children, Michelle of Windsor, Ontario. and George D. of Windsor, Ontario..
In lieu of flowers, George wished for trees to be planted in his honour. Donations to the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Foundation to plant trees would be welcomed by the family.
