He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Bond and Vera Maude Counts Moore; his wife Betty Jo; his siblings, Sue Castle, Henry Moore and Bob Moore; and his children, Shirley Minor (Michael) of Lewisburg, Tennessee and James Clarence Moore, Jr. of Youngsville.
He is survived by: his siblings, Bill Moore of Westland, Michigan and Faye McGlothlin (Earl) of Afton, Virginia; and his sister-in-law Dorothy "Dot" Moore of Nickelsville, Virginia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
