He was predeceased by: his parents, Jarvis J. Schmidt and Gertrude Shmidt. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; and his brothers, Kirk (Karen) and Craig (Peggy). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bayview Yacht Club (100 Clairpointe St, Detroit, MI 48215).
