Axe; his children, Cathie Axe (Chris), Peter Axe, Meredith Shanle (John), Sara Axe Lucas (Steve) and Jay Axe; his grandsons, Brady Shanle and Sawyer Lucas; his stepchildren, Gregory Stroh (Christina) and Suzanne Gerber-Stroh (Amy); and his stepgrandchildren, Phillippa Gerber-Stroh and Charlotte Stroh.
