He is survived by: his wife Petra; his daughters, Debra McGuire (Daniel), Denise Ivester (Dan) and Deanne Gutierrez; and his brothers, Ramon Gutierrez and Gilbert Gutierrez. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren; 4 Great-Grandchildren, and 18 Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). A rosary will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Latin Americans United for Progress.
