He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Diana McBroom; his mother Rhoda Levin (Katzin); his brother Daniel Levin (Fay Hartog Levin); his sister-in-law Judge Helene White; and his significant other's children, Jessica McBroom of Washington, D. C. and James McBroom of Detroit.
He also served as a long-time board member of the Sigmund and Sophie Rohlik Foundation.
