“Big Herb was a friend of mine , I admired him. He was a talented individual who was before his time, phenomenal basketball player, I use to watch him in awe, that a man that big was so smooth, and that had moves of a point guard, a power forward, and a center, before it was popular. He had a quite demeanor, until you put a ball in his hand, he would step across half court and let it fly, he had moves. And once he saved my life, someone put a gun to my head and he just ran up and took the gun.”
