With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Ann MacLaren of Detroit, Michigan, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2024. As we bid Lois Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lois Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Don; her mother Lois; and her children, Don R., Anne L., Michael T. (Kathy), Mary J. McCabe (Patrick) and Susan E. May. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, the skilled, compassionate caregivers at Beacon Hill, neighbors.
