We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2024, at the age of 100, Nellie Shafer formerly of Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Pegg and Anna Pegg; her husband Charles R. Shafer; and her children, Charles, Nancy Genik (William) of Rochester Hills, MI, Janet Lawler (Michael) of Yarrow Point, WA, Susan Harrison (Jeffrey) of Northville, MI and Thomas C. Shafer (Mary). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
