She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Turner and Myrtle Lee Beal; her husband Elton Howard, Sr.; her siblings, Lottie Mell Wines, Pearlie Mae Story, Wessie Dean Barnes, Dollie Dimple Moody, Myrtle Jean Cochran, Tollie Alfred Turner, Eddie Turner, Darfus Stewart, Leroy Cochran and Donald Ray Cochran; and her son Elton "Buddy" Howard Jr..
She is survived by: her siblings, Lillie Ruth Bruce and Lawrence "Bubba" Turner; her children, Milton, Felton Zenas, Preston Eugene Howard (Rochelle), Dorothy Mae Wardford (Gregory) and Ann Marie Schultz (Michael); her grandchildren, Gregory Wardford Jr. (Phenesia), Darnell Wardford (Watipaso), Eric Wardford, Kevin Wardford, Madeline Jewel and Milan Noelle Howard; her great grandchildren, Blake Nicole and Desta Serene; and also, Lorenza and Gloria Sykes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
