He is survived by: his son-in-law Rob; his daughter Christine Niner (Rob); his granddaughter Madeline; his siblings, Juha Vepsalainen (Pirkko) of Kuusankoski and Brenda Atchison (Walter) of Rochester Hills; and his nieces and nephews, Cassandra Lowe and Riitta Vepsalainen.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak (705 W Eleven Mile Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Christian Memorial Gardens West (521 E Hamlin Rd, Rochester Hills, MI 48307).
