With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Starzynski (Detroit, Michigan), who passed away on December 11, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Starzynski and Margaret Starzynski (Kissel); and his siblings, Ann Surdacki, Olga Wlasik and Paul Starzynski.
He is survived by: his wife Gail; and his in-laws, Dennis Gauthier (Carrie), Marcia LeBlanc (Brian), Joann Kaluza and Andrea Gauthier. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (22412 Overlake St, St Clair Shores, MI 48080). A Mass will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (25800 Harper, St Clair Shores, MI 48081). A prayer will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (22412 Overlake St, St Clair Shores, MI 48080). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
