She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Whitely, and Luella Whitely, Sr.; her husband Hilton Turner, Sr.; and her siblings, Arthur Whitely, Jr., Leonard Whitely, Doris Abram and Geraldean Whitely.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Horton, Sr. (Sonya), Roderick Horton (JoAnn), Hilton Turner, Jr. (Terri), Catherine Sampson (Alton), Shelly Singleton (Paul) and Hazel Turner; and her siblings, Theodore Whitely, Sr. (Betty), Leander Whitely (Dorothy), Josephine Whitely-Fields and Gracye Sturdivant. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; fifty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
