He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Pointe and Pearl Pointe (Taylor); his brother Tom Pointe; and his niece Sheila. He is survived by : his brother-in-law Glen; his children, Rich Pointe (Michele) and Nicole Brooks; his grandchildren, Drew, Sarah, Savannah, Brayden, Dillon, Caden and Justin; his sister Sharon Burkett; his nieces, Emily, Bridget and Winnie; his nephew Jeremy; and his cousin Shirley Terry.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kaatz Funeral Directors - Mt. Clemens (226 Crocker Blvd, Mt Clemens, MI 48043).
