He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ruby and Rachel Corinne Ruby (Monger); his wife Margie; his son Rick Ruby; and his brothers, John Ruby and Bob Ruby.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Reed, Diane Firsch and Tom Ruby; his grandchildren, Eric Ruby and Amy Ruby; his children, Deanna Koenigs, Laura Sotomayor, Sondra Reed, Krista Faith, Keith Firsch, Leah Firsch, Sarah Wells Firsch, Michael Ruby and Melody Ruby; and his siblings, Rachel Luchs, Janet Merrill and Bill Ruby. He is also survived by several Great grandchildren.
