We announce the death of Richard Saroli of Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 87. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Richard will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Richard’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Diane Saroli-Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Ida Saroli; his sons, David (Susan) and Mark; his brother Robert (Sally); and his grandchildren, Nathanial (Karen), Serafina, Ana-Marie (Patrick), Richard John, Michael, Cassandra, Brianna and Elizabeth. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, along with many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Deer Lake Athletic Club (6167 White Lake Rd, Village of Clarkston, MI 48346).
