She was predeceased by: her husband James White Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Finney, Otis T. Hooks, Michele Thomas and James Martin White. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wessels & Wilk Funeral Home (23690 Woodward Ave, Pleasant Ridge, MI 48069). The lying in state was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church (20740 Reimanville Ave, Ferndale, MI 48220). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
