She is survived by: her son Jason Powell; her siblings, Martelle Chapital Smith, Reginald Parr and Kent Parr; and her siblings' children, Dr. Alyssa Chapital, Nicholas Chapital, Erik Chapital, Kent Parr Jr., Richard Parr and Randall Pearson.
