He is survived by: his wife Sharon Murphy Ellis; his children, Shameka Williams, Rashida Huckaby and Mercedes Johnson; his siblings, Pamela Ellis, Douglas Rogers, Darrell McDonel, William Walker and Terrence Pratt; his grandchildren, Shawn Knox, Shardana Williamson, Eric Williamson and Jason Knox; and his great grandchildren, Zaiden Williamson and Cole Hutchins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
