We announce the death of Ronald Franklin Steinmayer in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 93. Ronald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Franklin Steinmayer and Frances Caroline Steinmayer (Stachowiak); his former wife Joan Maxine Satory; his children, Gregory Ronald (Ken), Elizabeth Ann (Manny Leventis), Paul Gerard (Becky), Patricia Susan (Dan Laundroche) and Christopher John (Julie); and his wife Joanne Dembinski.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home (2600 Crooks Rd, Troy, MI 48084). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (3400 S Adams Rd, Auburn Hills, MI 48326).
