He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Bomer and Ella Mae Bomer; and his brother Joe Henry Bomer. He is survived by: his sister Debera "Penny" Smith of Lexington, Tennessee; and his children, Anthony Williams of Detroit, Michigan, Phidel Williams of Detroit, Tausha Williams-McCloud of Detroit, Rachael Williams of Detroit and Racquel Wilkerson of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two nieces, and a host of cousins.
