She was predeceased by: her father Michael Ross; and her sister Eunice. She is survived by: her mother Ona Hammond; her children, Emily Mejia (Roberto) and Joshua Hammond; her grandchildren, Roberto Mejia Jr. and Sasha Mejia; and her siblings, Earl, Tanisha, Helen, Michelle, Kevin, Brian and Alphonso. She is also survived by other family members, church family, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the New Mount Herman Baptist Church (3225 S Deacon St, Detroit, MI 48217).
