It is with sadness that the passing of Thomas Perhai of Detroit, Michigan is shared. Thomas, born on October 10, 1934, passed away on August 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Perhai and Catherine Perhai (Bretz); his former wife Mary Perhai; his sisters, Irene Prange (Erik), Lucille Foreman (Hiram) and Marjorie Hallman (Eugene); and his sister-in-law Margaret Perhai.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Robert William Mosher Jr. (Julie) of Lake City and Cindy Webb of Petoskey; and his brother Robert Perhai (Bob) of Cheboygan.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Burkholder-Nielsen Funeral Home (211 N Pine St, McBain, MI 49657). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Thomas was a dedicated financial supporter of "Veterans serving Veterans", as well as other organizations who help veterans. Contributions made in his honor are greatly appreciated.
