He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Spitzley and Lillian Spitzley (Geller); his son Clair Spitzley Jr.; and his son-in-law Michael Wong. He is survived by: his wife Marlene of Dewitt; his children, Beth Wong of Fremont, CA and Craig Spitzley (Shelley) of Ashley, MI; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Wong of Fremont, CA, Jared Spitzley (Rachel) of Ashley, Tyler Spitzley of Ashley, Chelsey Spitzley of St Johns, MI and Brendon Spitzley of Ashley, MI; his sister Mary Lee Jorae (Jerry) of St Johns, MI; and his stepchildren, Lynda Vrendenburg (Wayne) of Grand Rapids, Mary Ryan (Roger) of DeWitt, Debbie Paradise (Mike) of St. Johns, Mike Petrowsky (Linda) of Sturgis, Ryan Petrowsky (Laurie) of Laingsburg, Cheryl Petrowsky of Britten and Tammy Williams of Warren. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
