Devin Michael Lake Obituary
Devin Micheal Lake, PhD. passed away on April 6th 2026, at 30 years old. Born November 3rd 1995, in Tecumseh, MI. Survived by his parents, Debra Bradstreet, Keith Bradstreet, Jason Lake, and Sharon Lake. Siblings Cory (Andi) Mygrants, Adam Mygrants, Katie (Brandon) Lake, Kilsun (Shelissa) Keagy, and Robbie Bradstreet. As well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, Grandparents, and friends. Devin was an outstanding, bright young scientist who worked at MSU as a postdoctoral researcher and lab manager, who was always eager to help anyone who needed him. Devin will always be remembered for his infectious smile and his love for life. He was a brilliant man who was always up for a crazy adventure, a Nerf war, or a game of Magic. His loss will be felt deeply by those who knew him, but also by the entire academic and scientific community.
A celebration of life is taking place at Durkee-Seager American Legion Post 550, 333 Connor St, Onsted, MI 49265, with a bonfire in his honor in his grandparents’ backyard. Everyone is encouraged to bring a camp chair for the fire.
