It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Doris Mae Cook of Dewitt, Michigan, who passed away at the age of 86, on June 17, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Blake O. Fisher and Grace Margret Fisher (Kramer); and her sister Mary Jane Sober (Richard). She is survived by: her husband David Lee Cook; her children, Lee Cook (Judy), Paul Cook (Janet) and Brenda Grace; and her brothers, Lary Smith (Leanne) and Blake Fisher (Linda). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (104 E Cass St, St Johns, MI 48879). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at the Wilsey Cemetery.
