He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; his son Jason; his parents, Bernard Cook and Geraldine Cook (Halfmann); his sister Judy; his brother-in-law Bill Fife; his parents-in-law, John and Barbara Wireman; and his brothers-in-law, John Wireman and Richard Goodell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Schuler (Ron) and Stacy Datema; his daughter-in-law Becky Cook; his sister Janie Calcagno (Sal); his sister-in-law Ida Goodell; his grandchildren, Tyler Schuler (Ronni), Josh Schuler, Elizabeth Schuler, Nolan Datema, Olivia Datema, Katelyn Cook (John), Brett Cook and Reyana Cook; and his great grandchild Chase.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes (205 E Washington St, DeWitt, MI 48820). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
