We announce the death of Jennifer A. Vogel of Dewitt, Michigan, who passed away on September 4, 2026, at the age of 46. Jennifer will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Jennifer will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Jennifer will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Jennifer’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her father James Firos. She is survived by: her mother Karen Firos (Beckett); her children, Caitlyn Wilzer, Nathan Wilzer, David Hopkins, Grace Haueter and Victoria Vogel; and her sister Jacqueline Samara (Simon).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the University United Methodist Church (1120 S Harrison Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Capital Area Humane Society or University United Methodist Church Outreach Fund.
