Joseph James Di Giovanni CSM Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph James Di Giovanni CSM (Dewitt, Michigan), who passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Giovanni and Mary Di Giovanni; and his daughter Chris Mears. He is survived by: his wife Darlene; and his children, Annette Lynch (Richard), Matt Kroeger (Deidara), Carolyn Moser (Mike), Nick Di Giovanni (Kerri), Sam Schwein (Erica) and Joe Di Giovanni (Paige). He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Lansing Chapel (900 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (801 N Bridge St, DeWitt, MI 48820). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
