She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Kindel and Marie Kindel (Slagell); her son Gary Newcombe; and her sister Pauline Leslie Kindel. She is survived by: her sons, Troy Newcombe (Jill) and Rick Newcombe (Kate); her grandchildren, Ryleigh VandenBroeke (Reed) and Jameson Newcombe (Morgan); her great grandchildren, Gemma VandenBroeke and Charlie VandenBroeke; her brother Ronald Kindel (Debbie); and her nephews, Ben and Alex.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Woodview Church of Nazarene (1500 E State Rd, Lansing, MI 48906). A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the North Star Cemetery (3352 E Johnson Rd, Ithaca, MI 48847).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in Pat's honor be directed to the Spina Bifida Association or Woodview Church of Nazarene (please find links below).
