She is survived by: her children, Arlene Lee (Larry) of Hendersonville, NC, Dorina Thornton of East Lansing, MI and DeKevin Thornton (Nancy) of Petoskey, MI; her grandchildren, Wendy Chambers (John Henry) of Atlanta, GA, Heidi Parker (Adrea Jehnig) of Portland, ME, Nicole Powell (Andrew) of Wilmington, NC, Caleb Lee of Columbia, MD, Kelsey Messinger (Jeff) of Galloway, OH and Spencer Thornton (Jenny Mayer) of Ankeny, IA; her great grandchildren, Abigail Gravlin, Brooks Powell, Alice Messinger and Layken Mayer-Thornton; and her close friend Mary Dunn.
