As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Loy Whitehead; and his brother Jesse Whitehead. He is survived by: his mother Joanne Whitehead (Mackie); and his wife Joan Whitehead (Bramble). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home (901 N Main St #9487, Chelsea, MI 48118). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (14200 E Old US Hwy 12, Chelsea, MI 48118).
