He was predeceased by: his father Loy Whitehead; and his brother Jesse Whitehead. He is survived by: his mother Joanne Whitehead (Mackie); and his wife Joan Whitehead (Bramble). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
