With sadness, we share the passing of Janet Bauer Oehler of Dexter, Michigan. Janet, born on August 29, 1935, passed away on July 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Arthur and Erna Bauer (Wolf); her husband Charles "Chub" Oehler; her son Paul Oehler; and her sister Joan Dilworth (John).
She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Debbie Jeffries; her children-in-law, Jim Jeffries and Suzanne Oehler; her granddaughters, Tracie Baker (Justin) and Alyssa "AJ" Jeffries; her great grandchildren, Liam and Sophie; her brother-in-law John Dilworth; her niece Jenny Dilworth; her nephew John Dilworth; her sister-in-law Sally Neal; her niece Peggy Neal (Greg); and her cousins, Lila Wolff-Wilkinson and Eleanor Wilkinson.
Donations in her memory can be made to any of the musical organizations that Janet enjoyed, such as the Ann Arbor Civic Band, Dexter Community Band or Saline New Horizons Band or St. Johnland Healthcare/Nursing Center, Kings Park, NY that provided care to Janet's beloved husband for 12 years.
