She was predeceased by: her parents, Irwin Sobieski and Helen Sobieski (Wengrzyn). She is survived by: her husband Dan Roycroft; her siblings, Matthew Sobieszczyk (Marta), Lucy Devitt and Joseph Sobieszczyk; her son Paul Roycroft (Katie); and her grandchildren, Nora, Amelia and Gus Roycroft.
After retiring as a classroom teacher, she was a substitute teacher in the McHenry area for 17 years until COVID-19 closed the schools.
