With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Schafer of Dimondale, Michigan, born in Lancaster, California, who passed away on July 28, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, James Leon and Ernestine Leon (Nichols); her sister Alice; her husband John; her children, Kathy Robison (Rick Smith) and John, III (Debra); her sisters, Wanda Duckett (Shelby) and Linda Jean Cole (Ted); her niece Susan Young (Eric); and also Jaeger.
